Week 3 Day 6

So I really enjoyed my day off from work.

Ate about 3155 of deliciousness and some not so deliciousness, but still enjoyed the whole day.

I probably don't notice this as much during the week because my meals fall right into schedule, but on days off I really am aware of how hungry I get between 3-6 pm. I had a good breakfast yesterday, it was late around 11:30, and I was really hungry by 3pm. Ate poorly for a skippable lunch of a pint of faux ice cream. Still felt hungry for a while.

So I play World of Warcraft, an online role-playing game, and it distracts me from the hunger. By 6:30 I am not hungry at all and if not going out for a late dinner I could have skipped and gone straight to bed. I really think the idea that people sit around all day playing video games is making them fat is not true.

Seriously, other than water runs and the inevitable bathroom breaks I don't like to eat and mess around with WoW or other games. Whether I'm so focused on my play or I just don't want to break away I just don't like to stop and make a meal while playing. Of course it can lead to doing a quickie meal of a pint of ice cream, but it also leads to a few nights of going to bed without even thinking of eating dinner.

Nope, playing video games does not make you fat. Eating a box of cookies while playing video games and guzzling sodas will make you fat. Don't hate the game, hate the player.

Late meal + huge meal = bad morning weigh in. I'll let you know when I go below the latest low point. We are heading into lows not seen in the last 5 years though. With luck (and the damnable exercise) we might get to lows not seen since 2000, then we can party like it's 1999!
