Year 2 Week 6 Day 1

The mantra is "One Week, One Pound"

Last week was 310.8 and this week is 315.0 that is a GAIN of 4.2 lbs.

Oh how I miss January already. Well, I should blame this on the Superbowl and eating really late on Sunday night, so it will be shown up for sure on Friday's measurements. Still I am going to be working my ass off "for reals yo" this week.

For the record the goal was 309.8 lbs and the goal for next week is 308.8 lbs so that is 6.8 sweating to the oldies pounds to shed this week. Oh how I love my life.

So just obvious bad habits crept back in this week. Ate a lot of pizza, found a new joy in boneless buffalo wings and ate a variety of desserts. The only good thing was that I kept up with all my exercises last week.

So more of the working out and less of the chewing of food. That's okay because I am also finding that I enjoy feeling hungry more than I enjoy being full. Now that sounds very counterintuitive but try this out. Being hungry is a world filled with opportunities and being full is being just being done. If I lived in a subsistence level society I am sure my outlook would be different but I this industrialized world there is no excuse for eating to excess.

Yep, the Superbowl, what to say, what to say another team collecting a Lombardi trophy that the Vikings should have won. I would have won money if I'd laid out some bets, picked the Saints hoping they'd lose, picked Brees for MVP hoping he'd get knocked out, ditto Darren Sharper for MVP since he was a Viking and now he has a ring that he can lord over his former teammates plus it was 30-1. I also had the over, thinking that NO needed to score a lot to keep up with the Colts which didn't work out in the second half so much. My other favorite bet was Kim Kardashian camera shots over/under 2.5 and I was taking the over. Now I am not even sure she was at the game.

So the weekend ends up sucking for me on many levels and now this week is going to be lo cal, high work out, early nights and just plain crappy February-ness. Happy Black History Month!

Later.
